Information
The WSU Women's Ice Hockey team is a club sport that is committed to fostering the growth of women's ice hockey in the Pacific Northwest. We are here to ensure that the women of WSU have the opportunity to play and learn at the skill levels necessary. All women who are current students or faculty of Washington State University are eligible to join, and are encouraged to do so. Individuals who are interested in holding a leadership position are especially encouraged to apply.
Members can expect thorough instruction of ice hockey from our talented coaching staff. We also aim to promote teamwork, increase fitness, and develop time-management skills while our players gain experience in an unusual field. Players should exhibit willingness to learn, a positive attitude, and a desire to improve.
In addition to these qualities, members should demonstrate appropriate behavior when with the team, both on and off the ice. As representatives of Washington State University, the WSU Women's Ice Hockey club team will not tolerate any negative behavior that includes but is not limited to drug use, hazing, and/or discrimination.
